Who is behind the Isla de La Palma Guide
The Isla de La Palma Guide website was created and is maintained by Brian Smith and Els Vlasveld.

They first visited La Palma for a holiday in 1996 and after 4 more holidays on the island, and a lot of thought and preparation they emigrated to La Palma at the end of 1999. They lived for the first year in Puerto Naos and since the end of 2000 they live and work in Puntagorda.

Brian is owner of the Internet Website design company BTS Internet Services and co-owner of Estate Agent LivingonLaPalma.com
He is an Englishman who lived in The Netherlands from 1982 until 1999.
Els is Dutch and runs the holiday home side of the business.

BTS Internet Services and LivingonLaPalma.com are based on the island of La Palma, Canary Islands.
BTS Internet Services designs websites for European clients and businesses on La Palma.
Services on the island include website hosting and design, web-advertising and publicity for holiday home owners.
BTS Internet Services arranges bookings for individual holiday accommodation on La Palma.

LivingonLaPalma.com helps people to find property on La Palma, and specialises in house and land in the La Punta, Tijarafe, Puntagorda and Garafia areas in the north west of the island.
