The Almond festival in PuntagordaDeze pagina in Nederlands
Puntagorda is the center of the Almond festival every year at the end of January or beginning of February.
It seems as if all of La Palma comes to the El Pinar part of Puntagorda to enjoy the festival. Folk music and dancing, free wine and almonds, market stalls, dance bands and street bars. The festivities start on the Friday evening and continue until about midnight on Sunday. The most activities are in the afternoon and evening with the highlights on Sunday afternoon.
