Santa Domingo de Garafia is the main village of the most northerly council area of La Palma. |

On this part of the main road around the island, between Puntagorda and Las Tricias, the council is busy repairing the road and placing wire netting on the rock faces to prevent stones falling. They shut off the road for 5 to 30 minutes at a time to allow the work to be done safely. |
